I'm About to be Old

In exactly 1 week, I will be 30 years old! I'm not super sure how I feel about it. I think I feel how Rachel felt when she turned 30 in Friends...& a little how Joey felt.

This new AT&T commercial makes me cry every single time I see it. I have no idea why, but I love it. See for yourself. If you know me, maybe you'll figure out why this makes me cry. I'm a total dork, I know!

I love Glee!!

There is a new show on Fox called Glee & I love it! It's about a Glee club at a high school & they have all these funny high school issues. Only Nerds want to be in Glee, except there's the star of the Football team who joined because singing is her real passion. Hahaha! Then some Cheerleaders joined to try to break up Glee Club. So awesome. It's a very different show & I think it's so funny! Below is a video from last night's episode & you will see why I love this show. Let me set it up for you. Basically, the gay nerdy kid in Glee has to join the Football team because his very macho dad finds him in the basement in a unitard singing Beyonce's "Single Ladies". He doesn't want his dad to know he's gay so he tells him it's his workout for Football practice & that he is the team's kicker. Now the gay kid is actually not a bad kicker, so he's on the team. The star football player, who is in Glee with the gay kid, then makes all the football players learn Single Ladies because he thinks it will help them become more coordinated. They basically suck (like CHS Football!). So the guys think it's lame, but they learn it anyway because the coach thinks there's nothing to lose by learning it since they totally suck! Soooo....now you can watch this clip & understand (sort of) what's going on. It's so great!!!!

So Wrong!!!

So, apparently there are some races in Mexico where a Monkey rides a dog. This is their version of Horse Races. It a pretty big deal & a lot of people go out & make bets & root for their "jockey's" (I guess you would call them). OK, this is so not right. I'm sure many people think this is hilarious, but it's so sad for the animals!! Here is a picture of the monkey races. Oh & the monkeys ride pigs too...

So, the Cheesecake Factory has this new red velvet cheesecake & it is absolutely amazing! I think I can say that it is in my top 5 favorite desserts. Now that is saying something since dessert is my favorite meal!! Here is a photo of it for you to enjoy!

San Francisco Adventures

Last month sister, Brandon, the Twins, & I drove up to San Francisco for Aunt Jenny's 75th Birthday party. Well, it was an experience that's for sure! I can officially go on the record & say that I will NEVER ever drive up to SF again! It took 8 1/2 hours & I drive the whole way! I seriously don;t know how my dad can drive all those hours without getting angry or tired. I have a new found respect for the pops! Below are some of the pictures I took of the adventure in SF...

The guy took her purse & she chased after him....she's 85! Thank God she is OK, but I think it's so awesome how tough she is! =oD

This guy was a total wierdo. I have no idea what he was about, but the girls liked him. Probably because he had music playing from his fanny pack. After I took the picture he said to me, "It's good manners to tip!" Hahaha! We gave him a dollar.

Overall, the weekend was pretty good. A few times I got irritated, but Brother B was there to calm me down & make me laugh. Brandon can be good for some things!! Hahaha!!

OC Fair ROCKS!!

The OC Fair 2009 Extravaganza was a great success this year! We had good eats, good laughs, & good times! What did I eat this year? Wellllll......I had fried artichoke hearts, fried mushrooms, 3- corn on the cob (yummy!), a chocolate frozen banana, frozen lemonade, water, coke, 6- chocolate covered strawberries, ummmm....& something else fried that I can't remember. Mmmmm boy! I think I gained about 20 pounds that night. BUT it was worth it!!! Here are some of the best photos from that night.
