It's Nice to Start Your Life at 29

Since I graduated from high school, I coached my Alma Mater's Dance Drill Team. I dedicated 12 long years of my life to high school kids...teaching them not only how to dance, but how to be responsible & not so annoying. I finally retired this year from being the Director & I feel like my life is finally starting. I guess I have sort of felt like the last 12 years was an extension from high school. I was still always around teenagers, & also had a lot of drama in my life still. Now that I have had a whole month to myself, I really like being an adult! Hahaha! It's nice to concentrate on myself & spend time in my home. Since I bought my home in September of last year, I didn't spend 1 weekend there because of the Dance Team. I always slept at my parent's house on the weekends since I had to be there for Dance. Anyway, I retired I now I am taking my life back!! And what better way to do that, than to have a partay?!!!!
First...please enjoy a moonwalk dance off between brothers. Who do you think should win? Jeff or Dan?

I hope you enjoyed the dance-off! Feel free to comment on who you think was better. =oD

Naturally, I MUST take a picture of Casey taking a picture. It's a longtime tradition!

One of my most beautiful friends, Nicole.

Drunk?

Zac & Jenny

I know....I look naked. Strapless dresses can be deceiving on close-up pictures!!

My old coaches- Julian (he's the crazy one taking over the Dance Drill Team for me!), Greg, & Blair. They got super lost & it took them 2 hours to get from Cerritos to Santa Ana. Love it!

Jeff's pretty face & Casey in her cute Target dress!

Jeff is still making his pretty face!

I'm glad my friend Gary made it out! I hope he wasn't too traumatized by our crazy talk!

CLo & Me...I look very bad in this picture!

Zac, Jeff, Casey, & Me with LOTS of lasagna in our hands!

I love Jenny!

Twin sandwich!
Overall, it was a very fun party. I would like to say thank you to all my family & friends who have hugely supported me all these years. Looking back, I can't believe I directed the Dance Team for so long. BUT, I wouldn't change it for anything. I learned a lot about myself & what I am capable of. It's funny how being a part of a team like that can make you learn so much more about people & life. I will miss the Dance Team, but I am looking forward to what my future brings.
Here are 10 things I would like to do now that I have my life back:
1. Lose 20 pounds
2. Try getting a spray tan
3. Take Ballroom
4. Go bungee jumping
5. Start painting again (yes, I used to paint)
6. Write a short story
7. Maybe find a good man....that might be good
8. Start my own business
9. Not turn 30
10. Go to Europe
